Festival infoAppelpop is a free festival on the Waalkade in Tiel. Since 1992, the festival has grown into the largest music festival of its kind with international fame. Every second weekend in September it is the end of the festival season for many visitors. The 33nd edition will take place on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 September 2026.

Appelpop is characterized by its broad programming of bands from the top of the Dutch music industry, quality from the pop venue circuit and regional talent. In addition to music on the stages and a festival market, there are also various other activities to do.

Sinds 1975 trekt Festival Dranouter muziekliefhebbers van alle leeftijden naar het pittoreske Heuvelland, vlakbij de Franse grens. Wat ooit begon als een kleinschalig folkmuziekfestival, is uitgegroeid tot een ontmoetingsplaats voor traditionele en hedendaagse muziek. Vorige edities hebben wereldberoemde artiesten zoals Suzanne Vega, Nick Cave en Angèle verwelkomd, maar ook opkomend talent krijgt hier een podium. Naast muziek biedt het festival een geweldige sfeer, heerlijk eten, themabars en rand-activiteiten voor jong en oud.

1 shift → A day ticket for the day you volunteer + a meal on your shift day.

Last summer, 1,400 volunteers helped bring 75,000 festival-goers to life in the Osseghem Park! Three days suspended in time, three days of humanity, warmth, music and dance. These three days would not have been possible without you. Without your commitment, your kindness and your generosity.

This year, we’ll see you again on 26, 27 and 28 June 2026, for the 35th edition of Couleur Café, with a heart just as big. And we promise you even more music, flavours, and unforgettable moments.

BMX Racing European Cup 2026 komt voor de 3e keer naar Tiel!
Na het succes van eerdere edities in 2024 en 2025 zijn we trots dat we voor de 3e keer de UEC European Cup BMX Racing zullen organiseren. Van vrijdag 3 april tot en met maandag 6 april 2026 vindt het evenement plaats op de BMX baan van Wielersportcentrum de Betuwe aan de Schaarsdijkweg 9 in Tiel.

De UEC BMX European Cup in Tiel is een favoriet onder rijders en toeschouwers. Eerdere edities ontvingen duizenden deelnemers en fans uit tientallen landen, die graag de spanning, sfeer, snelheid en sportieve passie van BMX-racing live wilden beleven.

~~Horst Atelier presents a dynamic four-week programme, uniting participants to collaboratively create the immersive festival and visual arts programme. We invite you to join us for a minimum of one week, each beginning on Sunday evening with an introductory get-together and ending on Friday. Only the last Atelier week runs from Saturday to Thursday.
